RESINERGI Secures Early-Stage Funding from Nauli Energi Ventura for Sustainable Waste Management

RESINERGI, a company at the forefront of sustainable integrated waste management, has successfully obtained early-stage funding to commence operations at its Integrated Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) across various project sites. Nauli Energi Ventura (NEV) is the principal investor in this initiative.

Karmia Tandjung, representing NEV, shared her excitement about the collaboration: “We are excited to partner with Resinergi as they strive to transform waste management practices into more sustainable ones. This investment is intended to support Resinergi’s growth as a leader in the eco-friendly waste management sector. We believe that with their strong vision and commitment, Resinergi will significantly contribute to creating a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.”

In response to this successful funding, Glory Harimas Sihombing, co-founder and CEO of Resinergi, stated, “This funding will enable us to construct and expand our facilities in Ponorogo and Bangkalan. This initiative is crucial as having an integrated and efficient MRF is essential for sustainable waste management. We are also preparing a business plan for further expansion, which includes building a mega site worth US$10 million.”

Resinergi has laid out a strategic plan for the implementation of their waste processing projects. The company has already built essential physical infrastructure such as internal and external area buildings, educational facilities, access roads, and machine installations at the MRF in Ponorogo, ensuring its operational efficacy.

Furthermore, Resinergi has created 50 new job opportunities at the MRF in Ponorogo and is targeting mid-June 2024 for the commissioning tests and the official inauguration by the Regent of Ponorogo. The company has hired several local employees for operations at this facility, expected to positively influence the local economy and community engagement in waste management.

Additionally, Resinergi has upgraded power and electrical installations, completed the detailed engineering design for the MRF in Bangkalan, and allocated the necessary budget for 2024. Operations are expected to start by mid-July 2024 and are planned to be officially inaugurated by the Regent on August 17, 2024.

With a unified vision to advance the implementation of a circular economy in waste management, in mid-2023, Resinergi’s co-founders, Glory Harimas Sihombing, Bhima Aries Diyanto, I Dewa Made Agung, Aditha Setyawan, Mesianti Tobing, and Beny Handoyo, committed to providing integrated, environmentally friendly, and sustainable waste management solutions. The infrastructure developed is aimed at reducing the adverse environmental impacts of waste accumulation and enhancing public awareness about the importance of effective waste management.

With the backing of early-stage funding, Resinergi is confident it can accelerate the construction and development of the MRFs in Ponorogo and Bangkalan, bringing not only environmental benefits but also creating new economic opportunities through job creation and community development in waste management.

Motivated by innovation and a strong commitment, Resinergi is poised to lead the transformation towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
